Description of Fleece                 Picture                     Adoption Status

Priscilla

Born in the spring of 2006.  Her fleece is pure white with the exception of a little light reddish tan cape on the back of her neck.  Her dam is a thel rich producing ewe.  Her first shearing this fall should be exceptional.

Available for adoption.

Vashti

This morrit mouflon lamb has the most gorgeous fleece...full of little downy soft ringlets.  A nice medium chocolate brown with caramel belly.

Available for adoption.

Salome

Born in the Spring of 2006. Her dam is loaded with high luster fleece and her sire produces a very thel rich fleece (and lots of it).  The fiber from her first shearing this fall make a beautiful tweed yarn.

Adopted by Peg W., a spinner, on July 25th, 2006.

Rebekah

This ewe, born in the spring of 2006, has jet black fleece.  Her dam produces more fleece than any other ewe in our flock.  Her sire is also a good producer of thel rich fleece.

Adopted on June 16, 2006  by Lana, a spinner in Illinois .

Abigail

A heavy fleece producing morrit yearling ewe with milk chocolate fleece with just a touch of caramel highlights.  Abigail's fleece is a dream to spin.

Fall fleece reserved for a spinner in Utah.

Adoption for spring fleece still available.

Eve

This gorgeous yearling ewe is truly loaded with fleece.  She is a black grey ewe with unusual raspberry dark chocolate tips.  She is the top fleece producing ewe in our flock.

Adopted by a spinner from Indiana until May 19, 2007.

Rahab

This heavy fleece producing ewe has the most amazing black fleece with a hint of red highlights.  Her fleece has begun to silver as she ages which spins into the most gorgeous yarn.

Fall fleece reserved for a spinner in Utah.

Adoption for spring fleece still available.

Esther

This creamy white ewe has very lustrous fleece.  I have spun all of her fleece from last fall and it had such a high sheen it spun more like mohair.  Could be used for dyeing.

Adopted by Judy F. from Indiana until 5/14/07.

Bathsheba

This ewe produces a nice medium chocolate brown fleece (somewhere between milk chocolate and dark chocolate).  While she is a spotted ewe, she only has white on her legs and face (where fiber does not grow) so her fleece is totally morrit (brown).

Adopted by Debbie, a spinner in California, on June 21, 2006.

Delilah

This creamy white ewe is a heavy fleece producer.  Her fleece is very thel rich and would accept dye beautifully.

Available for adoption.

Sapphira

This stunning jet black ewe produces lots a gorgeous fleece.  While not rich in thel, her fleece is long and lustrous.  Her vivid black fleece would be wonderful to use as accents is various projects or in a single garment.

Fall fleece reserved for a spinner in Utah.

Adoption for spring fleece still available.

Chloe

This ewe produces a stunning salt and pepper grey fleece.  Her fleece has an unusual crimp to it but is very soft.

Adopted on May 18, 2006 by Roseann M., a spinner from Virginia.

Phebe

This ewe produces a large amount of lusterous creamy white fleece.  Her fleece is rich in thel and very soft to the touch.  Could be dyed.

Adopted by Charles, a spinner from British Columbia, until June 1, 2007.
